Some women prefer older men because they might see themselves as generally more mature and sophisticated than men of their own age. Therefore, they seek out men who presumably have a higher maturity level. However, women such as these might also be seeking someone who is typically more stable and financially secure, which older men tend to be.

There are women who like older men for various reasons. Older men are mature and have experienced many things that men who are of the same age or younger do. Older men often, are more open and expressive in their feelings and are confident in the way they treat women. They also are more attentive to a womens' needs.

Women can be attracted to older men because it's been generally accepted that age equals wisdom and resources. This is one of those things that just isn't true. There are a lot older men that can't solve their own problems, much less yours. Being caring and capable isn't age dependant.
