It could be due to poor self image or an extreme lack of self esteem. You must have confidence in yourself and find the beauty on the outside and within.
Ugly is relative. Often self image is found through other people's opinion and it is also you personally comparing yourself. Listen to the people that love you above all.
This may be due to the fact that you under estimate yourself. Or, you may have an Inferiority Complex. All are born beautiful and you are no exception.
