They seem like they are some sort of callouses. I would get a Dr. Schols corn pad. Wash and cover the blisters carefully. Afterwards, use a moisturizing lotion to prevent further dryness.

You may have blisters on your hands because your skin is dry and therefore more sensitive. This dryness also contributes to the problems you are having when they burst. The dryness is causing them to crack which makes it harder for them to be smoothed again.

You are probably doing something, that causes a lot of friction for your hands. Think about what you do during your day that can cause the blisters, like constantly gripping something, bike handles ect. Also, once the blisters crack open, be sure to keep them clean, and dry, and covered if possible. Open blisters are cause for infections.

You might have a form of eczema also going by the name of dyshidrosis or pompholyx. If it is seasonal it could be associated with allergies. Check with a doctor.

It is possible that you have extremely dry hands and your body created the moisture through blisters. Applying petroleum jelly, along with wearing cotton gloves is very effective, although messy.

You probably have blisters on your hands due to an activity that puts friction on your palms and/or other parts of your hands.

Small blisters have a wide differential including infection like herpes or coxsackie virus, trauma, heat and automimmune conditions like pemphigus. See your doctor to find out why you have them. They hurt more when they burst because you are exposing the nerve ends to the environment.
