Why are they the Bavarian Motor Works?

Well of the 1,000,000 plus vehicle that the produce year around 900,000 as actually made in Germany. The other 250,000 BMWs are produce elsewhere in the Australia, USA, and South Africa. So originally they all where made there but They are going to stop using that name.

the original founder was a man call Nikolaus August Otto who invented the four stroke engine which was used by his son to build air planes and they were bovarian
