Helena was the queen of the ancient Assyrian kingdom of Adiabene and died in 56 AD. Alternatively, another Helena was the queen of Rome, the mother of the famous Constantine, and died around 330 AD.
Queen Helena was a Swedish queen. The history of her rule dates back to the eleventh century, the old Viking times. Originally pagan she was baptized and given this name "Helena". Not much can be said about her reign except the fact that she had founded the first Swedish nunnery.
