What was Shakespeare's relationship to Queen Elizabeth like?

Shakespeare wrote plays that supported the reigning authority. The Queen, who was a patron of the Arts would of favour him. He would of receive approval and support from her.

Shakespeare did not have a personal relationship with Queen Elizabeth, but his company did preform plays for her audience. Shakespeare took into consideration Elizabeth's wishes: he omitted Richard giving up the crown from Richard II in performances, and at her request he included Falstaff in another play.
