Yes, the Stray Cats show to have a jazz influence, especially in their drumming. They are a hybrid of jazz, swing and rockabilly music. The band wouldn't be classified as a jazz act, but you can definitely hear the influence.

Brian Setzer on guitar and lead vocals, Lee Rocker was on bass and Slim Jim Phantom was on drums. They played a version of rockabilly that had a pop music slant.

The Stray Cats are an American Band who, while influenced by jazz music, would not be considered jazz musicians. Their music is more geared towards the rockabilly genre. Many people assume that they are a jazz band because the lead singer went on to for the Brian Setzer Orchestra, which is a jazz/swing dance band.
