How do you tell the age of a cat?

Can't tell for sure. Young cats will be more playful, have good white teeth. Older cats will have plague on their teeth, will act slower and cautiously.

You can take them to the vet and see if they can give you some idea as to how old the cat it. They may not know the exact age.
