Once you have an idea for a book, an outline is vital. The outline breaks the books into chapters, chapters into sections. Write sections and chapters until you are done.

Writing is a process that is different from person to person. To begin the process, try to find a blank notebook or open word processing program to gather your thoughts. Put together characters, your synopsis, and ask yourself one question over and over--"where would I like this to go?"

if you want to write a book, start backwards. First, think of your purpose in writting the book. Is it to critize the Italian government or give insight to teenagers? Then, imagine characters for your book by people you know of through personal experience, literature, etc.

The best place to start is with the writing. Just write the book, and while you are writing, you will be able to determine if it is interesting to you. If not, it probably won't be to anyone else. At that point, get writing instruction from a teacher.
