Where is the ect sensor on a 1990 Honda Accord 2.2 engine?

it should be on the back of the cylinder head and it is going to be the smaller of the two sensors back there. it should screw into a water jacket.

It'll be located right behind the front engine exhaust fan under the hood of course. Just look around for a black "wire" looking part it should be clearly marked. Make sure you don't put your fingers on the lens.

The ect sensor is probably located on or around the throttle body somewhere. There will be 2 or 3 wires going to it.

Follow the radiator hose up past the valve cover and look to left of where the hose enters the engine block.

There are two ECT sensors on this particular engine. One of the sensors is located under the distributor and has one wire connection. It is used for your temperature gauge. The other one is a two wire connector and is located on the thermastat housing and it operates the cooling fan.
