Your check engine light must be turned off using an electronic automobile scanner. Any reputable automobile repair facility such as Midas or Monroe will be able to help you.

If you go to your local auto parts store and you ask them to run a test because your check engine light is on, they will use a diagnostic tool. What they don't tell you is that this machine can turn the light off on your car. You can pick one up for under $100 or so.

You can't "reset" the check engine light. A qualified service tech needs to check this out and find out what caused the light to come on.
