One of the best places to find classic cars is Hemmings Motor News. This publication has thousands of classic car ads for everything you could possibly imagine including cars like the Amphicar from the 60's to steam powered cars like the White and Stanley Steamers. You'd be surprised how many are in your neighborhood.

The best place to start looking is online. There are hundreds of sites like AutoTrader and Cars Online that sell already restored classic cars.
