Anything that is good on gas mileage, has a low RPM gauge and in general the lower the "V"s the longer the car will last. A fairly loaded question for sure. Most repairs/replacements on this level are not safe for novices to perform, consult your car manual or speak with a licensed mechanic before hand.

In my opinion the best diesel cars are Toyota's. The technology that the Japaese put in the engine is very advanced.

For budget cars, I would recommend Volkswagen. Most of their cars come with an optional diesel. If you're looking for a pricier car, some BMW's and Mercedes cars come with diesels as optional engines. Most American-made diesels are larger pickup trucks and SUV's. A European car is your best bet for a diesel-powered passenger car.

Some of the best diesel cars are the Volvo's or diesel trucks. Ford F-250 and F-350 are really good diesel trucks that actually get really good mileage. You can also look at for more cars.

One of the best diesel cars is the Volkswagen Jetta TDI. It gets 35 - 40 mpg running on diesel. It is very stylish and comfortable inside, but will also save you lots of money at the pump.

The only companies selling new diesel cars in the US are VW/Audi, and Mercedes Benz. So if you can afford it a bluetec Mercedes would probably be the best.

The best diesel cars are from the Mercedes company and from Wolx wagon because these are the most popular companies as well and they are also making gud cars till now, and the average of there cars are also very good. My suggestion is for u to buy a car from Mercedes company.
