If I were looking for an artist's rendering of Demeter, I would first look in history books that study Greek architecture or art. If this did not provide an image that satisfied me, I would find a myth about Demeter and read it to an artist of my choosing. I would then ask them to draw her as they saw.

Use the Web to find it. Using Google Image Search, enter "Demeter" in the search field, and hit Enter. You will find many images showing artists' renderings of Demeter, since there are no photographs of Demeter or any other god. If you see a photograph, it is not the goddess, but a human or animal with the same name.
