Amazon is a great source for free mp3 downloads. They have songs from many different genres. I have added a lot of songs to my collection from there. Many are from lesser known artists but there a few well known artists as well.

Amazon usually has some free music downloads as does Itunes, but if you want specific songs you most likely will have to go to a pay per song site.

I know that you can still download free music from Limewire. You have to download the program to your computer and then you can start downloading.

Free music is available on the internet but there are strings attached to those downloads. Here is an idea, try to search for rapid share user id and password and when you find the valid ones (Which is a little hard) search for rapid share music downloads in Google. You have Tera bytes of music to be downloaded.
