Get a phone book research and call and ask if any lawyers listed give free legal advice. Some t. v and radio stations have free legal advice sections. Also some states offer free legal services. Many newspapers offer for there readers to write legal Q&A articles. You can also seek it online.

Contact your state bar for clinics and bar nights. They offer free advice and can refer you for pro bono representation.

Every county has a Legal Defense Bar that is paid for by the state. Be aware, you have to be eating water to qualify. Another avenue, is to try getting the Bar in your state to tell you how to meet up with lawyers who need Pro Bono Hours.
