You need to refer to your agreement. In most cases support stops at age 18 unless the child ops to go to collage or is other wise still in school. If there is no need to continue support after her 18th birthday, you will need to go to court and make a request to revisit and modify your arrangement.

You have to pay child support for your daughter until she turns 18 or she graduates high school, whichever comes first. If you owe back child support you have to pay until you no longer owe any money. Just because she's going to turn 18 doesn't mean you need to stop supporting her. She will need help for college too.

Most states have a law that requires you to pay child support until the child is 18. However, some states require that you pay child support to a disabled child for longer. With that said, if there is a good relationship with your child, you may want to continue paying child support even after they are 18.

These details should be covered in your divorce decree. You may also be able to get an answer from any agency that administers the payments.

While the courts will tell you when, your resposibility as a parent should tell you differently. The resposiblity as a parent does not stop.

Child support stops once the court order says it is okay to stop, or if you reach an agreement with your ex-spouse.

Child support doesn't always stop at 18. Check the terms of your child support. Sometimes it continues until your daughter is out of high school or if your behind.
