If you have supporting documentation to prove why it's too much then you can have your attorney request another hearing preferably with another judge. However make sure it is a legitimate claim and not because you just don't want to pay that much. Your children's welfare has to come first.

File a motion to be heard in Family Court where the support order was issued. Get a court date and offer your argument to the judge.

There is a specific formula that determines the amount of child support that is to be provided by each parent. Arguments about how much you should pay should have been presented in the initial hearing. Keep track of all expenses relative to the child. You may be able to get an adjustment hearing in a year or so.

The child support formulas and guidelines are one of the most corrupt issues in this state! If a woman is making $66,000/year, and the man is making $53000/year, there is no reason to order the man to pay her $900/month out of his income...and he pays the tax! corrupt!!!!!! greed!!!!!

You can hire a lawyer and fight to have your support lowered. However, there is probably not too much point unless you have some kind of highly unusual extenuating circumstance. Child support is calculated based on a general formula which calculates a fixed percentage of your income based on how many children are involved.
