How is child support percentage calculated?

I want to know a formula to predict child support.

It is based on the income of both parents added together. Then divide that by your income for your percentage and the other parents for their percentage. This is how they determine how much each is responsible for.

Child support is calculated based on the income of the both sets of parents and the current cost of living. Many things are considered, for example the standard of living in which the family was maintaining prior to the divorce.

Child support is calculated on an individual, case by case basis. There are a number of factors that go into this. A family law professional or counselor may be able to review your specific situation and provide you with appropriate guidelines for a formula.
