Normal operating temperature, with antifreeze/coolant and under a pressurized system will be around 190 to 210 degrees, depending on the workload. If you have a functioning thermostat and a sound, closed system, you can generally rely on the gauge being about halfway up its full range as normal.

Dependig on the make/model of the Honda, the engine coolant should be between 140 to 180 degrees during normal operation conditions.

you need to check and see what degree of thermostat the car has in it. if it has been replaced, it could be higher than normanl.
