Radiologists are medical doctors who specialize in reading and interpreting x-rays, ultrasounds and the like. Techs take the pictures and run the machinery. Radiologists earn a great deal more.

A Radiologist is a physician who specializes in interpreting images on CT scans, x-rays, ultrasounds, MRI's, etc. They also use radioaction in the treatment of patients with cancer. A radiology technician is someone who assists the Radiologist by getting patients ready for and taking x-rays, doing the CT scans, ultrasounds, MRI's, etc.
