Spray them with round up total kill. That is the only way you can be sure that you have completely killed them anything else will only work temporarily or not at all and with those things you want a garuntee that they are never coming back again other than that you cannot be sure.

You can either keep cutting them off at the ground until they die out or you can try and pull them out by the root or you can spary them with Round-Up total kill and that will take care of them if it were me I would go with the round up it's alot faster.
