I woke up with this pain. It is sensitive to touch. I don't workout or do anything strenuous.

You probably simply slept on your shoulder/arm the wrong way. It should pass in time once it loosens up again.

If you woke up with this pain, you may have slept on the shoulder wrong. This could be a strained muscle or tendon.
