What was the difference between the Seven Year War and the American revolution?

The French and Indian War is the Seven Year War fought in America. It was mostly between France and the colonists of Great Britain, and the Indians. This war occured about 20 years before the American revolution. In this war, the colonists fought along with Great Britain's soldiers. In the American revolution, the colonists fought against Great Britain's soldiers.

The Seven Years War was fought in Europe among European powers. It began in 1756. It really has little to do with the American Revoltionary war, except that George Washington fought battles in America on behalf of the British against the French, and this was connected to events in Europe.
