How did Britain's treatment of North American colonies evolve between the seven year war and the American revolution?

It changed for the worse. Britian incurred a lot of debt during the Seven Years War, and it thought the colonies should pay off that debt through taxes. When the colonies protested, then refused, it took increasingly drastic steps to try to enforce compliance.

After the Seven Years War Britain had a lot of debt. In order to repay that debt, the British levied many unpopular taxes on the American Colonies.
