The USA is currently involved in two major wars in Iraq and Afghanistan known largely as the War on Terror.

Technically the United States of America isn't involved in any real wars, except for the War on Terror, which isn't really a war that fits into the traditional definition. If you wanted to include peacekeeping missions in the list of wars that the United States is involved in, then you would include Afghanistan and Iraq.
