The recommended video card for playing Sims 2 is the ATI Radeon 9800 Pro, or the nVidea GeForce 4 or FX series cards. Also, the more video memory you have the better, as it make the processor work as hard. Make sure you have at least 256 worth of RAM on your PC as well.

If you have a Mac OS X system, you need a card that is at least a 32 MB ATI Radeon 9000 or a nVidia GeFore FX5200. If you have Windows, you need at least 32 MB of memory and DirectX 9. 0 capability. Most cards are 2002 meet requirements.

The sims two needs a lot of vido memory. I'd reccommend an ATI Radeon 9600, 9800 Pro or a Nvidia Geforce 4ti, FX 5600, FX 5900.
