Depends a lot on what time of year you go. No matter what, all clothes should be a blend of comfort, function and style. It's New York, after all.

New York city...You need nothing packed...You just visit, and everything you need, absolutely everything you will find here. No body comes prepared to the great apple, the great apple prepares you for everything inside of it and everything you will want and you need to see. you just find a place to sleep over the nights.

New York City is the kind of town where you'll miss something good if you go from one destination to the next via public transportation. Pack some good walking shoes and you'll enjoy the many gems along the city streets!

The climate in New York City is variable. Check weather.com or a local internet portal to find out the weather and dress as you would at home in those conditions. Make sure back pockets button up and purses are secure, as there are a lot of sticky fingers there.
