You should start by changing the transmission fluid and filter. Then if it still wont shift, you will need to have the transmission looked at.

Make sure the automatic transmission fluid level is full and top level as needed WHILE the vehicle is running. Check for vacuum leaks.

Newer vehicles have a button to disable the overdrive. Be sure that you havent turned off the overdrive by accident. If this is not the case you may have a sensor out. Take it to someone equiped to diagnose the vehicle.

These cars are a 4 speed auto, it you here the car changes 4 times then its goes in to od best way to try follow these options, go to open rood were you can do 100kmp, have your over drive turned off, then turn over drive on and see if the RPM drops
