What should I do if my dog ate a corn cob?

If the dog completely chewed the cob it should pass though his system. If he swallowed it whole and is not acting normal he will need an x-ray.

Keep an eye on the dog for the next week. As long as he swallowed it and it didn't get stuck in his throat, you can watch him to see if it passes through.

Remove it by all surgical means This is dangerous stuff, corns can grow insides their stomaches and then bulge out at enourmous speeds rupturing teeth and also posing a danger to nearby objects in your house.
