What should I do if I cannot delete my folders?

Try renaming the folder. Highlight the folder in Explorer and press F2. Rename it, then try deleting it again. Alternatively, you can right click, click Properties, and examine the attributes for the folder. If Read-only is checked, uncheck it and then give the delete another shot. Beyond that, you may not have the proper user right to delete the folder.

You should get a real good antivirus. You probably have a virus that doesn't allow you to delete folders that are infected, and most of them surely are. The best in my opinion is Kaspersky but if you google free antiviruses you will surely find some free good enough programs that will be able to help you.

If you are unable to delete folders from the GUI it will be worth trying from a command prompt instead. If this fails, you might not have the 'delete' permission on the folder, so will need to ask an administrator to perform the task instead.

Try logging off and logging on as an administrator (or getting an administrator to do it for you). If you still can't delete them, try running a virus scanner.
