How can I delete my yahoo account?

First make sure you copy any important information from your account. Then go to Yahoo's account termination page and carefully read over the instructions. Enter your account information then confirm that you want the account deleted. If you are paying for any of Yahoo's premium services; cancel them before closing your account or you still might be charged for them.

Okay, to delete your account you should go to /config/delete_user. Be advised you must log in or be already logged in. This will also delete your yahoo accounts associated with that email, such as Profiles or Finance.

On the Yahoo homepage, click help at the bottom right corner. Again at the bottom right corner, choose Sign In and Registration, now you'll see again Sign in and Registration, go there. Then click on Change users or locations, and "how to close my account".

If you failed to sign into your yahoo e-mail account for a long period of time, your account will automatically be deactivated. If you do not want to wait for self deactivation, you can follow the steps on the termination page on yahoo. Complete the account termination form and you should be all set.
