Check with your physician. If the internal hemorrhoid is large enough to make having a bowel movement difficult, you may need to have a surgical removal of the hemorrhoid. This is known as a hemorrhoidectomy. It is an outpatient procedure, and is relatively painless, and will probably offer a considerable amount of relief from your suffering.

Please include salads in your food. Avoid spicy food. Take at lease one tablespoonful of Liquid Paraffin after every meal. You can also take 1 tablespoonful Isapgol powder, one tablet DULCOLAX.

Internal haemarrhoids occur due to increased back-pressure on the internal haemarrhoidal plexus as a result of chronic straining during defecation. You may first try a course of laxative like lactulose which will facilitate easy passage of stools. If sypmtoms persist you may need to undergo proctoscopy and either banding or sclerotherapy of the haemarrhoidal mass. Surgery ie haemarrhoidectomy is the last resort.

Definately tell your doctor so that you can get a prescription to help you go to the bathroom. There are some over the counter things that you can take to help you also.
