What should I do about my anxiety?

i feel anxious quite a bit of the time.

To fix anxiety problems, try different methods of relaxing until you find one that works for you (i.e. lavender baths, hot tea, meditation, etc.)

Try meditation, exercise, refrain from consuming anything with caffeine or lots of sugar, get a good night's sleep and try to figure out what in particular is causing the anxiety you are having. If your anxiety is out of control or unwarrented, perhaps it is a good idea to seek professional help.

When feeling anxious, you should first try to find the root of the cause and deal directly with it. Are you over stressed? Do you have any chronic phobias? When having an attack, try to breath inhale deeply and slowly. Find the source and seek a proper therapy.

Many forms of therapy have been shown effective in dealing with anxiety. There is medication. But, biofeedback and behavioral therapy have also had similar success. On your own, you can try meditation and some cognitive therapy re-training exercises: talking yourself through the issue.

If anxiety prevents you from living your life it's urgent to see a counselor for therapy. If that doesn't improve it, you will need to see a doctor.
