My doctor put my youngest daughter on a low dose of Ativan to help with her anxiety. It really helped her alot. She would have horrible anxiety attacks where she couldn't catch her breath. It is very frightening for the child. Talk to her doctor as they are very aware of anxiety in children.

Without having more information about your 6 year old, it seems that if her anxiety is affecting her entire life, she may need a psychiatric evaluation to determine how much of her problem is physiological and how much is environmental. Reassure your 6 year old that she can talk to you about anything, and make yourself available to her.

I would first consult your daughter's pediatrician and explain the situation. The doctor may be able to pinpoint what is causing her anxiety and ways to prevent her from feeling anxious. If she has been traumatized, I would seek the help of a therapist or psychiatrist who your daughter could talk to.

You must take your 6 year old to a psychiatrist. They will prescribe medicine that will help her anxiety. Her whole life will turn around. It will help so much and if she takes medicine now she will possibly no longer need it when she grow older. Make sure she always takes the medicine on time.

this is a good time to take your daugter to a psychologist, don't be scare, the first thing they are going to do is to make sure that her problem is not a physical problem and from there they will decide if therapy or medication is needed

You need to take your 6 year old to her primary doctor for a recommendation for treatment. Hopefully your pediatrician can refer her to appropriate therapy.
