By all means get it out of there what a health hazard besides being just plain gross. Dispose of the remains and disinfect the area. If you can't handle the job call a professional.

If the odor is really strong you might want to move it or bury it. If left alone it can create bacteria.

I think it is safer to call an exterminator or your town's animal control office, even though the animal is already dead, so that the animal can be disposed of safely -you cannot just drop dead animals in garbage- and to get advice on to sanitize your house aftwerwards if need be.

I you find a dead animal behind siding that is on your property, you should put on gloves and mask and remove it immediately!
