Most 7 week old babies will wake up around 8 a.m. Then they will take a nap around noon. Most will take another nap around 4 p.m. This usually goes along with the feeding schedule Once their tummies are full, they will want to sleep for a little while. Keep in mind that not all babies are the same.

Infants need much more sleep than any other human. Their bodies are small, so they become tired easier. The average infant should sleep eight hours per night, with a two to three hour nap in the afternoon. They should get a total of ten to twelve hours of sleep per twenty-four hour period.

Each baby is different and no right answer exists, but in general they will sleep a great deal especially after feedings, but if you're concerned you should see your doctor.

You will find that a seven week old child sleeps fairly often. In fact, most of their time is spent sleeping. They will wake up when they are hungry, and when they need to be changed. They may stay up for short periods of time as well.

There is no set rule for a 7-week-old's nap sleeping pattern. Some babies thrive with 2 long naps a day and some with just 1 short nap a day.

7 weeks, baby should be sleeping more in the day and awake for feedings at night. 5 hours at a time is considered good but most babies don't sleep that.

At seven weeks old an infant may not have yet developed a pattern of sleeping and waking hours. As the child ages they will defiantly start sleeping in more uniform periods.

Typically a seven week old infant will sleep for up to four hours each time he is layed down and may only stay awake for two. However, infants needs vary since we are not all alike and it is possible that yours will sleep less. Or he may sleep more.

At 7 weeks of age, babies don't really have much of a pattern. They usually will sleep for a while after eating, but it's not common for them to have a schedule until they are a few months old.
