A2 paper is 420 x 594 mm, or 16.5 x 23.4 inches, according to international standards. The length and width can vary slightly, by plus or minus 2 mm. A2 paper is usually used for things like posters, as well as things like architectural drawings. It's (very roughly) 4x the size of a regular sheet of paper.
