Virtually anything that you love can be made into canister sets. Terra cotta flower pots make a unique set of canisters and bring the outside into your kitchen as well. Baskets can be used as canisters and add a touch of whimsey to your countertop. Choose what you love!

You could make them from coffee cans, if you have kitchen curtains just buy more and hot glue them around the coffee cans. Or you could buy plain glass canisters and paint the front with chalkboard paint and write or make a design on front of them and it's changeable.

Different sized food jars with customize made labels. Add a colourful ribbon around the neck. Different sized pitchers. Place scoop or large spoons in them. Canisters from cookies or chocolates.
