Giunea Pigs most commonly suffer from vitamin C deficiency. They cannot produce vitamin C on their own and have to get it from food sources. Make sure you only feed good specifically for guinea pigs to avoid this. They also can get upper respiratory conditions and colds.

They can get URIs (upper respiratory infections), kidney/bladder stones, UTIs, ovarian cysts, cheilitis, mites, lice, fungal infections, cancers, ear infections, pyometra, malocclusion, bloat (GI stasis), impaction, and abscesses. Do not consider a guinea pig as a pet unless you are willing to provide proper medical care.

Guinea pigs can get respitory,skin,intestinal illnesses with cavy sickness (like stomach flu) and mange being the most common. improper hygiene can lead to eye infections.
