What is your evaluation of Toshiba laptops?

Toshiba used to be a leader in laptop technology. Lately they have taken aim at the sub-$400 laptop market with their Satellite series. You get what you pay for, sub-par performance and benchmarks. They have also launched a higher end Quasmio series. These are usually well made laptops, but recently they have branded their sub par laptops with this name.

I happen to own Toshiba L455D-S5976 and just purchased it roughly six months ago and I cannot believe the processing speed and performance that it has. It's better than anything.

Typically a pretty good labtop for the amount of money you're spending on them, not exactly state of the art but they are great for college students.

I used a couple toshiba laptops many years back and they have survived the test of time. Wonderful shelf life. Lasted longer then other computers I've owned.

Toshiba laptops have always been good to me, I recently just bought a new one and it is my favorite laptop I have ever owned. I would suggest them to anyone.
