What is wrong if I can not save a game on ps2?

First make sure that you have a ps2 memory card inserted into the memory card slot. It's important that the memory card has enough available memory or else you will not be able to save. Also certain games have save points built into the games at specific points, so you may need to continue playing to reach a save point.

If you cant seem to save games it is most likely because the ps2 requires a memory card. If you have a memory card inserted into the memory slot then you should be able to save your game

If you cannot save a game from your PS2 to a memory card, you should make sure its a PS2 memory card (if playing a PS2 game) also, check to make sure the memory card is not damaged or that the PS2 is not damaged. Water damage may be the culprit. Make sure the Memory card is not full
