The miniature rex is a small rabbit. Males can weigh up to four pounds, while females can be as big as four and one half pounds. Although they are not the smallest breed, size of the mini rex and its friendly disposition makes this a popular pet breed. Miniature rex rabbits require little grooming and enjoy human rabbit interaction.

Miniature Rex rabbits can range anywhere from three to five pounds. However this does not mean they can be kept in a small cage.
