What is the proper way to do a dumbbell pullover?

Someone told me I was doing them wrong.

Well the proper way is to go slow and down. You might want to watch a video on you tube showing you the correct technique.

Bend over to between a 90 to 180 degree angle. Keeping back flat and chin up (don't look at floor), pull dumbells into body at waist level.

Dumbbell pullovers are considered a somewhat advanced exercise, as it's difficult to self-monitor your form unless you have an overhead mirror. To improve form, concentrate on squeezes your pectorals evenly as you pull the weight to the overhead position. Execute this manuever slowly to insure the right muscles are being used and consider having a spotter to watch you exercise.
