Well from my experience Large mouth bass are very weird fish. They migrate when it's cold and large mouth bass are found in deep dark waters. When it's warm you will find them in coves mostly spawning. When it's really hot you will again find them in the deep dark waters.
"Normal" habitat will change in different environments, and seasonally; but in general they hang to structure. Follow spawning seasons and water temp changes to follow the fish.
