When fishing in the morning for a fish such as a bass I'd recommend trying to use either a bass bug or a jelly worm. If you're feeling especially lucky you could always try a popper lure. You're better off top water fishing in the morning than not.

The best lures to use in the morning (and also evening) are topwater lures. At these times of the day the sun exposure is drastically reduced from the bulk of the day and the bass are looking up to feed. Try a zara spook, a chugger, or buzz-bait.

Go for something that most resembles a small fish. Yellow-ish green. One that doesnt make a lot of noise or splash when its going through the water but has a nice flowing noise to it.

Well that all depends on the lake or river fast or slow current tenp , the clearity of the water, but I have good luck with spinners.

In my experience you cant go wrong with a good spinnerbait for bass. To get the best results get a few different colors and swap em out and see which one works. You could probably do well with a frog bait in the early morning.
