My husband proposed to me by giving me my engagement ring in a dozen roses. The card attached said "I will love you until the last one withers and fades away. There was a silk rose in the dozen and I couldn't even tell!

When I was younger I met a girl who was the bar manager at a trendy restaurant. She sent me a drink, we flirted and then went home together to her house. We had a wondeful night and then she woke me up with breakfast in bed. My first time.

It was when my boyfriend surprised me at work with candy and flowers. There was no special occasion - he just did it. It was very touching because it was so unexpected.

My love took me out one night to listen to the cicadas sing. They only live for a single day every 12 years. We drove across the state to hear them. He said every 12 years we would go back, because we'll be together until the earth grows weary.

On Valentines Day a few years back my boyfriend stole my car keys and laid down the back seat of my car and put rose petals all over the back seat then we had candles lit and laid there and had dinner. It was very romantic.
