YOUR CLAVICLE!! (collar bone) very connected to the shoulders, if you land on your shoulder or an outstretched arm, the clavicle takes the force and snapo. Car accidents are great for breaking clavicles as well (seat belt)

The most common broken bone in the body is the wrist, in people under 65 years old. After 65, the hip becomes the most common. When you fall, you put your hands out to break the fall and the wrist takes the brunt of the weight. The fracture is usually at the forearm, which can be treated with a cast.

I've broken my entire leg before, and my nose and neck have been sprained, but I'm judging that the clavicle is, because your two shoulderbones retract when you fall on your hands, and hit it head on.

I haven't ever broken a bone before either, but I looked this up for Health extra credit. Professionals say the bone no other than the clavicle, or chestbone

So far I have never broken a bone. I think in addition to wrist, legs get broken very often. Tibia breaks sometime while skiing, but also other sports and non sport related incidents.

The most common broken bone in the body is the wrist. When you are falling, it is just a normal reaction to try to catch yourself with your hands and arm. This results in breaking the wrist. As you get into your older years the hip is more common due to falls.

My sense of what is the most common broken bone in the body is a toe bone. I have never broken a bone, other than a toe, and that has happened numerous times. One reason is that they are so vulnerable, especially when walking barefoot. The other reason could be that wearing sandals leaves the toes unprotected.

I broke my right wrist and it was awkward and painful. I was on a fairly distant Greek island (Rhodes) Luckily there were 2 visiting paediatricians visiting hospital and they assisted to set my wrist. Couldn't lift much with that arm for at least a year.
