What is the exact kind of battery needed for an Apple TV remote?

The battery type is a CR 2032 that you can get at pretty much any drug store or grocery store. Take a pen and press it into the indent on the lower right of the remote. The battery compartment will slide out and you can remove / replace the battery from there. The number is on the battery as well.

Does This Go For The NEW Metal Remotes As Well? I replaced the battery in mine with a CR2032 In My Metal Remote, it didn't work. Does that require a different battery? help! Thanks T1
