What is the etiquette for still born babies funerals?

I am sad to say I need to go to the funeral of a baby.

You should treat it the same as you would if the child had died soon after childbirth. The parents are clearly grieving, and you should express your sympathy to them and act accordingly. There are no special rules, although it is less likely (but not impossible) that you will have to view an open casket.

A funeral for any age is the same etiquette. It is perfectly accepted to show the same emotion as to an older person. A child can be remembered with flowers, balloons or toys or any items you feel the child would have enjoyed.

It is you job to offer sincere support, remember you do not have the emotional ties of the grieving person.
